SynopsisDirector Tony Kaye's (AMERICAN HISTORY X) long-awaited film DETACHMENT stars Academy Award(R) winner Adrien Brody as Henry Barthes, a substitute teacher who conveniently avoids any emotional connections by never staying anywhere long enough to form a bond with either his students or colleagues. A lost soul grappling with a troubled past, Henry finds himself at a public school where an apathetic student body has created a frustrated, burned-out administration. In finding an emotional connection to the students but also to fellow teachers and a runaway teen, he finds that he's not alone in a life and death struggle to find beauty in a seemingly vicious and loveless world. Kaye has molded a contemporary vision of people who become increasingly distant from others while still feeling the need to connect. DETACHMENT features a stellar ensemble cast, including Academy Award(R) winner Marcia Gay Harden, Christina Hendricks, William Petersen, Bryan Cranston, Tim Blake Nelson, Lucy Liu, Blythe Danner, Academy Award(R) nominees James Caan, and newcomers Sami Gayle and Betty Kaye.

암스테르담에서 알게된 Soepboer & Stooker를 따라서 우연히

fORS라는 브랜드가 전시하는 곳에 가게 되었습니다.

독일인 Dizzy와 그 친구가 하는 브랜드인데

옷도 좋았지만, 영상이 정말 훌륭하더군요.

위의 사진과 같은 방식으로 여러장의 사진을 찍어서,

이것을 움직이는 거울을 통해 영상으로 만들었다고 합니다.

참 신기한데.... 뭐라 표현할 방법이 업네요.

The doors

오랜만에 도어즈 음악을 들었다. 중학교 때 테이프를 사서 들었었는데 지금은 어디있는지 모르겠다. 찾는다 해도 못듣겠지만. 어쨌든 그 중 내가 좋아한 곡이 있었는데, 그 곡이 'Riders on the storm' 인지 오늘 영화를 보고 알았다. 노래 중에 빗소리가 들리는데 비오는 날 들으면 정말 방안에 비가 내리는 듯 하다. 내가 도어즈를 좋아하는 이유는 노래에서 들려오는 '삐릴리리 삐리삐리~' 같은 기타소리와(응?) 짐 모리슨의 보컬 때문이다. 어쨌거나 무대에서 짐 모리슨이 떡실신하는 장면은 압권입니다.


왜 이토록 모든 음악영화는 훌륭한 것일까?


그리고 난 짐 모리슨의 하관을 닮은듯
